A day at Evangelina Home Daycare
Discover the exciting and nurturing routines that fill our days with joy, learning, and growth for every child.

Our colorful daily adventure
A typical day at Evangelina Home Daycare is filled with love, learning, play, and plenty of opportunities for children to explore and have fun. π Each day has a routine, but we also stay flexible based on the children's ages, needs, and interests.

Morning greetings and learning time
π Morning Arrival: Children arrive, and we welcome them with a warm greeting. Parents can share any important updates about their child. Children have time for free play while everyone arrives.
π Learning Time: We enjoy age-appropriate activities such as reading, storytelling, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, music, science, and hands-on discovery.

Creativity, meals, and outdoor fun
π¨ Creative Activities: Children have opportunities to draw, paint, color, make crafts, sing, dance, and use their imagination.
π Meals & Snacks: Children have nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, with time to practice good eating habits and social skills.
π³ Outdoor & Physical Play: We spend time outdoors.
Tailored care for every child
At Evangelina Home Daycare, our daily schedule is special because it gives children a healthy balance of learning, play, rest, and social interaction. ππ
For infants, I follow their individual feeding, sleeping, and care routines while providing plenty of talking, singing, sensory activities, and one-on-one attention. πΌπΆ
For toddlers, the day includes hands-on learning, music, stories, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and activities that help build independence and social skills. π§Έπ¨
For older children, we include age-appropriate learning activities, creative projects, science and discovery, physical play, reading, and opportunities to practice problem-solving and teamwork. ππ
Most importantly, I keep the schedule flexible so children can learn at their own pace and have their individual needs respected. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and fun home environment where every child feels comfortable, supported, and excited to learn and grow. ππ±
Staying connected with parents
At Evangelina Home Daycare, I believe good communication with parents is very important. π I keep parents informed by sharing updates about their childβs meals, naps, activities, playtime, learning, and overall mood throughout the day. ππ§Έ
I also talk with parents during drop-off and pick-up and encourage them to ask questions or share anything that may help me better care for their child. For special activities or milestones, I like to share pictures or updates when appropriate and with parent permission. πΈβ¨
My goal is for parents to feel connected, informed, and confident about their child's day while in my care. ππ
